An English girl, Elizabeth, took Katrina of the family, Victoria and me
to the mustard flower fields.
We enjoyed admiring its bright colours and the sweet scents in the mustard flower fields,
and we also visited the nearby alpaca farm.
Alpacas are really sociable and they kissed Elizabeth hello.
It was a nice day, with a lot of fun and laughter as if I were a young girl.
Mustard flowers here have big clusters of bright yellow petals with thick stems.
They are more vivid and sweetly fragrant than mustard flowers in California.
Katrina and Victoria brought a bucket full of the flowers, and just for fun,
all the girls of the family enjoyed making flower wreathes for their hair.
Again, so much laughing made us all happy children.
