Unfortunately, it was a rainy and chilly day.
But, as the French saying goes – ‘Mariage pluvieux, mariage heureux,’ –
and the Hawaiian – ‘No rain, no rainbow’ –

the couple would make a sweet home.

The bride, without any make-up on her face,
was as truly pretty as the fresh flower wreath on her head.

Her smile told us how happy the couple was,
and shone with love and hope for the future.

The newlyweds made everyone who was there happy.

While giving them a send-off to Canada for their honeymoon,
as a parent, I felt how blissfully happy I would be
if I could have such a warm and lovely wedding.
